I stayed in Beach club Doganay twice already and this year it's even better then the last. Good food with plenty of dishes to chose from, drinks and snacks avaliable 24h, amazing sandy beach with clear water and good animation team. I will definitely be back there and highly recommend it.

Another fab holiday
Lesley W, Derbyshire. UK
We went to the beach club doganay last march and we enjoyed it so much that we decided to take our 2 teenage boys this time, at the end of April. They loved it. What sets this hotel apart from a lot of hotels is that it has it's own private beach with a food hall which is included with the all inc. Again, good clean rooms and lovely food. We always go to the meat bar where they show cook and there's lovely meaty dishes every day. Do check the tins just over from the meat bar too as these have delicious meals in there also. Lots of choice for everyone. We loved to catch the bus into Alanya for the shops and got lots of bargains. The kids loved the bartering. As I put in my last review, when in Turkey, they always 'up' the prices to the English. So even if they have prices on them, always barter. Many times we walked away and they call you back with lower price. All in good sport. We have Turkish friends and they have told us that they only have big prices on for tourists but Turkish pay much less. We use an excellent dentist in Alanya and this hotel makes for a fab holiday. Another tip: if you learn a little of their language, they respect this and even the grumpy looking ones smile. Because we've been twice, they did remember us and were very friendly. The man on the beach is lovely and always gets you a sunbed and takes it to a spot for you. Sports on the beach are a bit pricey and in our whole stay we only saw one person on the para-gliding boat. If they lowered their prices (a lot) they'd get more people paying and make a lot more. There is definitely more Turkish holiday makers there with the odd Spanish, French, German and English. Animation team are fab too and very friendly. One tiny negative, that didn't really bother us but the entertainment at nights was in a lit hall. It was quite squashed, and very hot. We had belly dancers, magician and an acrobat. Entertainment would've been much better outside. But on the last night we were there, they did say that they had the summer opening night, so possibly meant that it was going to start the entertainment outside?
The best thing about my stay was...Food. Beach. Shopping in Alanya.

Not 5 star and full of Russians
Lindsey Appleby Flynn, Rotherham
Family of four but got shoved into a room for three, where they later squeezed in a camp bed, making the room very squashed for us all. The hotel was full of Russians, who pushed in at the bar and we had an incident where they threw our towels of our sunbeds and pinched our beds, leading to a big argument when we took them back. Plus there is not enough sunbeds for all in hotel, so not always easy to get a bed. Evening entertainment was diabolically poor. Daytime entertainment was good if you like that kind of thing, the animation team work really hard. Food is what you would expect for all inclusive but quite often they ran out of the main food being cooked on the bbq by the chefs an hour before the end of dinner. Beach bar was nice and nice to have all inclusive on the beach, chefs cook food in front of you but I was put of my seeing some poor hygiene practices, staff really helpful and friendly on the whole, especially Gemma, the guest relations manager. Room key cards usually stopped working, once every three visits to the room on average, so lots of additional trips to reception to get key re-programmed. Alanya is nice but very expensive. Pool area is nice and kids loved the slides but they are turned of every day from 12-2 which was frustrating for the kids, they are not supervised and so lots of kids would run up the slides the wrong way etc, or lots of pushing in and not waiting, causing some kids to get hurt at times. On the whole, we had a good holiday, as we made the best of things, although this is a nice hotel, with nice friendly staff, the location is not great and the issue with the rooms and everything being tailored towards Russians means I would not return to this hotel.

relaxing, friendly, welcoming
we enjoyed a week here very recently. Very happy with everything but not really 5* . Only complaint - tea and coffee always ran out at breakfast. Perhaps consider having more machines? Although there were kids we were never bothered by them as they were very well amused by all facilities. All nationalities there - not many Brits - but no problems at all. Check out the Marina restaurant in Alanya. Owned by the owner of the hotel and he gives you a free taxi ride into town if you eat there. Great food too. Loads of bargains in Alanya shops
The best thing about my stay was...Very clean, helpful staff and glorious weather!

Beach Club Doganay was in my opinion a perfect hotel for the price. When we arrived they had unfortunately booked two of our rooms to other families. This may sound bad, but coused by the fact that we got the king suite instead we were more than happy. The food was lovely and decorated very beautifully. The only bad thing to mention would be that most dishes consisted of different kind of chicken. The animation team was wonderfull and you where never bored. If you were not interested in participating in anything you could just stay at the relaxing pool, which was lovely as well. The hotel and the sorroundings was beautifull, of couse disregarded the large road. For young people there was both a disco on the beach and trips to alanya city every third night. overall we had a wounderfull trip and would happily recommend it to everyone.
The best thing about my stay was...The animation team

I have been to this hotel many times with my partner. In April we had the most amazing wedding here which was organised by Gulay the Customer Relations Manager, who did a superb job. As always the staff were excellent, the food was plentiful and the room was very clean and comfortable. The entertainment team were brilliant, keeping all ages amused. Congratulations to all, keep up the good work.

Value for Money
MOHAMMAD ALMUFTI, Saudi Arabia
This hotel is rated as 5 star but I believe it must be rated as 4 star. Everything is clean and comfortable, but the housekeeping is less than expected and you have to ask for room amenities to be provided. Food and drinks are plentiful and you can find almost any time. In general with its current rates it is a good value for money.
