Not the Best but Good
Alfred Ingleton, UK
The room was spacious and comfortable and had a good bathroom and OK balcony. Sadly the decor was dreary and old and the furniture (apart from the beds which were OK) was run down and we lacked drawers. We had Bed and Breakfast and there was always ample food with some variations on offer. Quality was average - sometimes good sometimes less so. The Spa was good.
The best thing about my stay was...The bathroom was very good and we weren't often disturbed by noise from other rooms

Stayed at this hotel a couple of summers ago and deliberately booked it again. Have also stayed at the Occidental Teguise, which is the other side of the resort. They are both good 4 star all inclusive hotels and although Beatriz is missing a squash court, and the in-water play area is better for small children at the Occidental, the thalasso spa at Beatriz trumps everything if you like that sort of thing. All guests over 16 can use it once per day (our 13 year old daughter had no challenge going in every day last time we went so don't let the age restriction put you off, if your teenagers know how to handle themselves!) and it is great when the weather is a bit dull. Also, the heated outdoor pool at Beatriz is the best temperature I've experienced on a winter sun holiday. My daughter and I lasted for an hour on one occasion but there were lots of others using it generally so it wasn't just a case of us being brave! The food is also good and they serve San Miguel; a branded lager is a first in my experience at an all inclusive and knocked spots off the amber fizz experienced in most other places. The rooms are pretty good. The corridors are carpeted and the doors all have anti-slam devices on them so we had no disturbances from people moving up and down the corridor after we had gone to bed. The evening entertainment was mediocre and noticeably poorer this time than our previous summer visit - not sure whether this is a seasonal thing but I'm not very keen on hotel evening entertainment TBH so I wasn't bothered either way. The staff are all pretty good generally too, particularly on reception, so no complaints there. In summary, we really enjoyed a second visit and are very likely to go back.
The best thing about my stay was...Thalasso spa and heated outdoor pool.

Sadly disappointingly tired.....
Paul Richardson, Fuerteventura
We stayed there for 2 nights. It's huge. Immediate impression was good, downstairs reception area was nice. Upon entry to room.. It was tired, in serious need of updating. Aged units were yellowed and cracking, carpet thin and faded, Bathroom fittings chipped and rusty or yellowed plastic. Sheets had small "burn" holes in them. Very poor considering the nightly rate.
The best thing about my stay was...Public area themed decor..

Lovely hotel, although a bit further out than i thought it was. The reception staff were very friendly, cleaning staff always greeted me with a good morning in Spanish! The inside was amazing, plants growing down, a waterfall inside, bars and restaurants were welcoming. Outside the swimming pools were cleaned daily, could possibly benefit with a little more cover around the seating areas. I didn't feel rushed during mealtimes, it felt quiet and calm. A good spruce up and lick of paint would be the only criticism.
The best thing about my stay was...after upgrading to all inclusive, the free access to drinks and meals

Fantastic 5 day break with my 10 year old son
deb kemp, Lower Darwen, Lancashire
Second visit to this hotel which is located a short walk from the main centre which is superb as very quiet, the bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable and cleaned on a daily basis. The all inclusive buffet caters for all food tastes with lots of choice. Pools and pool area are very clean and plenty of sunbeds even when coming down later of a morning we had no problem getting our beds. Lots of daytime entertainment if you want to get involved but not in your face if you choose not to. All the staff very friendly apart from Laura on reception, maybe I caught her at a bad time, all the others superb.

Chill out time
Really good hotel with spacious rooms all having great views. The Spa is amazing and my friend and I made sure to visit it once a day. The various jets of water give a workout for the whole body and is very relaxing too. The food was plentiful but desserts not so unless you like sweet cakes. Sometimes there was tinned fruit or veg which I thought let the hotel down as most of the food was better than that. The staff were professional and pleasant and the bar areas designed to impress, especially the night time one. Sometimes the entertainment was really special but not every night though the onsite entertainers worked very hard. Hot all of the bars were open all the time at the time of year I went (May)' The poolside was lovely with plenty of water to swim in and lots of sun beds in a beautifully landscaped garden with things to do such as tennis' We thought the AlI Inclusive deal very good value as it included daily entrance to the Spa and all drinks including lots of alcoholic ones! All in all a special hotel set at the back of the town so if you have to be on the beach all the time this is not for you. If you like a bit of seclusion with the beach a 15 minute walk away then you will be happy with what you find here.
The best thing about my stay was...Spa and some of the entertainment nights when I was asked to dance and found I could do it, then that made me happy!

Don't go when weddings are on
Dr andy billen, England
Not a bad hotel food good but never hot , good size rooms well cleaned find out if there on any weddings as when I arrived there was an Indian wedding that lasted two days and ALL NIGHT till 0700 in morning 30 to 40 people complained reception and management just laughed they were pathetic WAITERS AND BAR STAFF 50% of them were rude beyond belief and I've travelled extensively
The best thing about my stay was...Not a lot

Having stayed at the Beatriz several times over the last 10 years we were disappointed with our recent stay and felt the hotel appears to be 'dumbing down'. The room staff are still excellent and the rooms are clean but the bar staff could be friendlier and the pool bar staff need training. The sounds of feral cats fighting in the dining room in the early morning don't instil confidence and it may only be a minor thing but I never saw so many men wearing shorts to dinner previously.

After an enormously stressful beginning to 2014, we took the plunge having read the awful negative reviews and tentatively booked our stay at this hotel!! Thank goodness we did. We arrived on 2 April and despite the weather being overcast and cool (not the hotel's fault), we were greeted by very pleasant helpful reception staff. We were unpacked in our lovely room and by the pool pre lunch. We were both a little nervous about what to expect all inclusive, as we are both good eaters. We were not disappointed at all and cannot fathom how anyone else could be. Where else do you get steaks cooked to your liking most nights, a beautiful joint on offer, endless other wonderful dishes, exciting salad bar, sometimes with king prawns and smoked salmon and endless supplies of beer, wine, Cava and soft drinks, with a wonderful setting of foliage and water falls? The entertainment is different every evening and to be quite honest, it suited us. We were more than happy to watch the varied sometimes laughable entertainment, then be back in our room, sitting on our balcony by midnight, without the constant drum of nightclub noise. You never have to fight for a sunbed here either, which is a massive bonus and the pool area and spa are wonderful. We were disappointed that the pool restaurant was closed after a few days due to a shortage of guest as we really enjoyed eating out people watching and chatting but everything else about our holiday was superb. We returned refreshed, relaxed and gutted at having to leave. My advice - do not listen to any negative reviews on here. If you are a typical Victor Meldrew and will find anything to complain about or you want an 18-30's holiday, then avoid this hotel. Otherwise, go with an open mind and enjoy the moment. We will most definitely be returning!!
The best thing about my stay was...The food was amazing as was the spa

Bad food, poor entertainment and very unhelpful staff at reception
SC , Ireland
Food was terrible much the same every night. Would not recommend all inclusive as we ate out 5 nights due to bad food. Entertainment was the same 5 out of 7 nights it was the same singers who were not entertaining. Staff at reception was very unhelpful and rude. Had to go to another hotel to print boarding passes as the ones at our reception were not helpful. Very poor English with all hotel staff. On a positive the hotel was clean and looked well but because of the major negatives would Definately not stay here again. Was dissapointed overall esp for the price we paid.

One week we spent on middle term holiday in Beatriz Costa and Spa have got bad experience. 4 Star hotel in reality max 2 Star. Restaurant and room staff was very short. Rooms were cleaned around 4pm , in full restaurant only few waiters so busy you never find them. Hotel around lots of rubbish. On Spa bath floor ceramic is broken. Food very bad , it's like food made not fresh ,all vegetables cooked from frozen. In gym only couple equipment work. In finally we all including two kids have gotten stomach bugs ,kids were womiting straight on the table in a restaurant , it was absolutely a nightmare. I'm not recommending anyone to going there.

second time we have stayed at the Beatriz Costa and Spa we stayed firstly in november and enjoyed it so much we had a short break in february. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the foilage iinside hotel and waterfall was very effective and made it a relaxing place to be. food good, especially chinese and italian nights. most staff friendly, apart from certain bar staff. spa centre definitely makes the holiday as it is a nice relaxing end to the day. although about a 20 minute walk to the beach if you are not happy to walk there is a free bus you can take. i would definitely stay at this hotel again.
The best thing about my stay was...the spa centre

Just returned from a weeks stay at this hotel. Went all inclusive; food was fine - there were a couple of themed nights Chinese and Indian which were good! Weather was mixed so the use of the spa was welcome. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Did feel that the hotel was short staffed which could be a bit frustrating. Hotel felt cool in the evenings around the bars and entertainment area so make sure you pack an extra layer!

Lovely, relaxing break!
Just got back from our stay at the Beatriz hotel and spa, we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived! The hotel is very grand and all the staff are very welcome. The room was spotless, we had no problems at all. We stayed all inclusive, which was amazing value for money! There was a lot of choice for food, something different every night. The only thing I will say, is there wasn't the greatest choice for desserts, there was ice cream and then some Spanish cakes, which I'm not a big fan of. But still I was impressed! Beer, wine and all soft drinks on tap so you can just help yourself! As for the hotel itself, the pool area was absolutely lovely, nice big pool and pool bar, snacks and drinks always available. Also we got great use out of the spa, it was completely free for us, it included; jets, jacuzzi, steam room, saunas. I was pleasantly surprised! There was a bus that ran to the beach in the morning, but to walk it took about 15/20 mins. The bus was free. There wasn't a lot to do on the night, the entertainment was average, was quite nice though as it was always different, and also sofas to sit on. Overall, we were very impressed with the hotel and will definitely go again!

Very good hotel with fabulous pools out on its own though not walking distance to bars and resturants so fine for those wanting all inclusive. the entertainment goes on till 12 and can be heard in all rooms due to design so dont go to bed earlier. l found the food very good with excellent variety at breakfast.
The best thing about my stay was...the pool was superb with great facilities.
