Not what I expected
Hannah , Croydon
We've just come back off our holiday and we was so disappointed.. the food was horrible we just about bared breakfast, we didn't even chance the dinner so we went out every night. The rooms were ok but be aware there was loads of ants nests in our room so we had to buy an ant spray. We was going to complain but we was talking to people there and they said they already have and didn't do anything about it... it is not near anything the location is very poor. We had to get taxis everywhere including the beach! It was only 5 euros though. There was stains on our towels and bed we had to ask the maid for new towels. If you explore its a very nice area but I wouldn't stay in that hotel again. I do recommend doing the zoo though, it's a lovely day out but very long day if you get coach. The layout of the pool is nice, but it takes a while for the sun to come all the round as the way the hotel is build it blocks some sun out for a while. I wouldn't bother with transfers as it's only 10 euros from hotel, the airport is very close you can see the planes flying over the hotel.
The best thing about my stay was...I do recommend the Irish bar muststang Sally's and mamma Mia's pizza, which is only a 5/10 min walk.

you get what you pay for
Hotel is a little out of the way with only a few bars and restaurants in the area, and is very quiet. There is not much to do unless you go into caletta de fuste , and there you will find a good selection of bars and shops, the harbour area is lovely and has sea lions, that you can swim with or have a picture taken with them. The coastal walk takes about 30 mins and on that walk you will see chipmunks and squirrels , not a walk for anyone with disabilities. The hotel staff are friendly and the rooms large are clean, the beds are very comfortable and the kitchenette is a very welcome bonus with a full fridge ,Kettle, and all cooking facilities. The meals on all inclusive is very repetitive and is either chicken or pork, and the breakfast is an attempt at English breakfast but not great, but all food is very edible. The bars in the hotel can get very crowded and usually only one barman, but they do work hard. Animation for the kids is poor, as there is only one young lady doing everything, and you don't see much of her. the Entertainment is not good, its either a singer of sorts, which sounds ok after a few beers, but not before, haha. The pool can be very cold but I went in a few times and found it to be ok after a couple of minutes, the kids pool is undergoing maintenance and is out of bounds at the present moment, and probably will be for a while. A pool view is nice, but if you want a quiet stay the ask for a room in the sport section, this section is a short walk away from the main hotel, but has airport and sea views. There is a hotel bus that starts running from around 10.20am and it stops in caletta de fuste, there are other public transport buses as well outside the hotel. A Taxi into caletta de fuste will cost around 4.5 euros, so really cheap, and a taxi to or from the airport is about 11 euros. All inclusive drinks are plentiful, and the pour a lot into each drink, even though it is only locally produced. Sunbeds start at 9am and I found was easy to get, there only a few tables and chairs around the bar though. one tip is that if you need water just ask for bottles of water from he bars and they will give you bottles. There is a market on a Saturday and a Tuesday, this is mainly watches ,Leather goods, clothing, and a few craft stalls, looks big but all repetitive . All in All a good hotel.
The best thing about my stay was...The room and Bed was the best thing.
