Travel Update

    • UPDATE – 16 OCTOBER 12:00

      We have completed the review of bookings that were affected by the Thomas Cook collapse, departing up to *30 NOVEMBER 2019*. We are making great progress in reviewing bookings departing up to *31 DECEMBER 2019* and hope to move on to January 2020 departures soon.

    • All Ryanair flights to/from UK airports on Mon 2nd, Tues 3rd & Wed 4th Sept will operate as scheduled thanks to the efforts of over 95% of Ryan Air's UK pilots who have confirmed that they will work their rosters, and will not support this failed 3rd BALPA strike action.     • Tropical Storm Dorian is forecast to affect the eastern Caribbean from Tuesday 27 August; you should exercise due caution and monitor local news and weather reports. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office amended its travel advice for a string of islands as the Caribbean enters its annual hurricane season. British travellers are being urged to “exercise due caution and monitor local news and weather reports”.

    • Tropical storm Dorian is tracking across the Tropical Atlantic and the eastern Caribbean Sea and is expected to reach Puerto Rico and southern Florida. The US National Hurricane Centre predicts Dorian reaching hurricane strength for a time before weakening. Heavy rainfall from intense thunderstorms are anticipated. You should monitor the progress of approaching storms on the US National Hurricane Center and follow instructions issued by the local authorities, including any evacuation orders.

    • Latest update:

      There has been a report of explosions at 3 locations in Bangkok. Initial information is that these have occurred at the Government Complex recreational park on Chaeng Wattana Road, near Chong Nonsi BTS (skytrain) station, and in sub-soi (side road) 57/1 of Rama 9 road in Bangkok.

      Please follow the advice of Thai authorities regarding the explosions.
