a quiet, relaxing and high standard hotel, not for those who want the high life and clubs.

The costa Silencia is next to Los Christianus, where you can party to the early hours. It doesnt have a beach as such because its the rocky area of Tenerife, unless you dont mind finding a flat rock to lay on. If you want lots of shops, disco,s etc then its not for you. It has roughly six restaurants, 2 supermarkets (also one on site plus hairdressers on site). Theres one charity shop and what i can only explain as a miniture boot sale where Spanish and English set up a table and put whatever they want to sell on it

The best thing about my stay was ...

quiet, relaxing, friendly, excellent for rock climers and walkers alike.

Small fishing town

Run down and in need of TLC, not much in the way of shops or entertainment, however take a walk down to the small harbour front, Las Galletas, where there are a handful of restaurants and cafes and a bit of biz there

peaceful laid back holiday

our hotel was just on the outskirts of silencia in gallettas which is not a comercialised resort which suited us fine.plenty of shops and cafes but more in tune to the locals which can be a refreshing change.silencio itself is also very quiet with a scattering of small bars and a good bus service should you wish to visit las americas or los cristianos which have a huge selection of bars and shops.
