10/10 Amazing

It is beautiful, with palm trees lining the streets and white houses very nicely spaced out - like California. The resort is not too far from Puerto Del Carmen and has a nice marina with restaurants, and a boat taxi to and from Puerto Del Carmen. There is a nice walk along the coast line to the marina and the houses are exclusive lookiing. The rocky shore is scenic and there are plenty of blue fish swimming about

A pretty and quiet town

Puerto Calero is very pretty, but quiet. Not suitable for someone looking for a loud and busy holiday - perfect for relaxation though. If staying in this area, it's worth hiring a car to view the other beautiful places on this island. Particularly worth visiting Papagayo beaches.

Quiet - Not for kids

Quiet marina with handful of restaurants and bars, not for kids. Puerto Del Carmen is only 5 minutes drive away which is the main tourist resort in Lanzarote and can be reached by bus from Puerto Calero or taxi or even water taxi, you can even walk it along a coastal path and it takes about half an hour.

The best thing about my stay was ...

Great for couples who want a quiet holiday away from hustle and bustle
