Fantastic location

This is a great location to explore the costa del sol. Puerto Banus is a great resort for a nightly stroll. There is also a very large open air market in Puerto Banus every Saturday morning. Ronda is well worth a visit. The views on the drive up are breathtaking.

Great place to eat

Quiet during the day, Benahavis comes alive at night with a large selection of restaurants offering food at reasonable prices. There are also many bars and venues that offer music. There are very few shopping opportunities in Benahavis and a car would be advisable for travel to nearby resorts such as Marbella and Estepona. I would not recommend this resort for anyone with mobility problems as steepish hills and steps might prove a problem.

Like a ghost town with a 4 lane motorway down the miuddle.

Many Restaurants / Bars / eating places have closed down during the Recession, and what is left is difficult to access because of the Motorway's limited and dangerous access / exit roads. Parking at Estepona / Marbella is almost impossible during peak season (UK school holidays)

The best thing about my stay was ...

..... still to be discovered !!
