A gem on the north coast of Majorca. We were recommended to Puerto Pollensa and did visit for a day trip - not keen at all as too commercialised. However, CSV is quaint but still had everything we needed for a great peaceful holiday. Would strongly recommend to couples wanting a nice time away from the crowds - especially early and late in the deason.

The best thing about my stay was ...

All of it!

Lovely fishing village

The Cala is a lovely place, where you can let you children go off and not be worried about what they are up to or if they got back to the hotel at night, I use to have to take a small baby for a walk at 5am and never felt worried or scared. It has a very homely feel to it and the residence are all lovely, I would recommend this to every one of my friends as a resort to go to as it is just fab.

Cala San Vicente

Whats not to like - absolutely lovely, and I would certainly have no hesitation in going back there. Views were stunning, and very friends people. My first visit to the island, and I think we definitely chose the best spot.

Lovely location

This is the first time we visited Cala San Vincente and it won't be the last. It is a quiet location which has two beach coves and a smaller beach cove by the Hi Don Pedro Hotel which are quite lovely. The sea is beautiful, very clean, we believe it get dredged every 2 weeks. Luxury boats and yachts pop into the bays and are a lovely sight. We caught the but to the market at Pollenca which was 1.5 euro. This again is a lovely old town, we planned to go on from there to Porto Pollensa but it was too hot (39 degrees!!) The location is pretty fantatsic really and you could believe that it could actually be a James Bond location. Definitely worth going

The jewel in Mallorca's crown

Quiet, tranquil, sleepy village, with a selection of bars and restaurants and two wonderful sandy beaches. I would recommend hiring a car, as approx. 4 miles for Port de Pollensa and Pollensa respectively and bus service somewhat sporadic, although it has improved in recent years. The downside is that the village is in 2 levels, with steps and is quite hilly so not ideal for those with a physical disability or the elderly.

The best thing about my stay was ...

The tranquility; you can not fail to relax here

Lovely resort

Lovely little resort but quite a lot of steps. One of every kind of shop you would require on holiday. Clean and tidy and beaches lovely. 20 mins takes you to Puerto Pollensa on the bus for a change of scene

Quiet location

a small resort with a few shops & bars, but was near the end of the season, so a few were closed. It may prove difficult if you have walking difficulties as the location has a few steep inclines. but don't let it put you off as the views are fantastic.

Lovely little village has several bays with usually calm clear waters for snorkaling which is very popular and child safe however if it is windy or a bit stormy water can become ruff very quickly. Views are magnificent as surrounded by cliffs. on both of the main beaches they have life guards, sun loungers and pedellos for hire from late May onwards.

Peaceful beach setting

Quiet beach with snorkel and kayak hire available. Access to 3 more bays in walking distance. A few stores around bay with basic food requirements, lilos etc. They will make up delicious baguettes for you. Beach bar with snacks too. A few bistros and hotels but not a busy resort. Local bus goes into Pollenca and Porto Pollensa far few euros return. Or taxi approx 15 euros one way if you want more action!!

What a lovely bay.

The bay was amazing. The sea was quite rough for two days and swimming was curtailed by the very proactive lifeguards. However, the sea was very calm for the last two days and was brilliant. We tried one local restaurant, despite the all inclusive package, and the meal we had was excellent and very good value. Because we were only on a short break we did not really explore the resort as the bay provided what we wanted.

The best thing about my stay was ...
