Plenty to do and great location

There is tonnes to do in Estepona and the location is ideal to visit other key places in the costa del sol. The hotel is a short walk away from the "puerto deportivo" of estepona and about 30 mins away from the city centre. In addition, it is very accessible by road if you have a car. It is only a short 25 minute drive to Gibraltar and about 15 minutes from Puerto Banus or the shopping centre "la canada" in Marbella. The animal park SELWO is also a short drive away and easily accessible by bus.

Estapona is a lovely place, the marina has plenty of resturants and bars, the town itself has a good shopping area, The square has nice cafe's etc, but what they fail to tell you is estapona is a town ? but also an area of the costa del sol so don't be fooled when they say your hotel is in estapona , it will be outside of the town for sure as there are no group hotels in estapona itself they are all located outside of town to the left or right , just make sure you check on google maps as to the location before you book, but if your after a relaxing holiday estapona is a great town for that,

ok for a long weekend

Was glad we had a car to visit different places, I think I would have been bored had we only stayed in Estepona however we stayed there in March so we couldn't enjoy the beach. The harbour area was very nice, we found a good Indian restaurant there.

no where near the town of Estepona only on very outskirts of area

Hire a car print off directions on a prev review re coming on & off A7 east & west cos its a bit complicated the first few times. When coming from Estepona its Benahavis cambio de sentido exit not the 1st exit saying just "Benahavis." Coming to hotel from Marbella is easy. Handy for all tourist attractions & Gibraltar.

The best thing about my stay was ...

Long sandy beach lovely promenade.
