Just returned from Hotel De Paris, stayed for three night. It is a beautiful hotel, we had a suite and it was amazing. Not for the fainthearted though as it is really expensive. Don't do room service unless you are not worried about cash. One cup of tea will set you back £9.00 . Had a great time though and the staff where really helpful, sheer luxury.
The best thing about my stay was...The view from our balcony.

Have just returned from a fantastic stay at this superb hotel. There are countless positives about the Hotel de Paris, and this review will probably only cover some of them. The location is excellent, being across the road from the Cafe de Paris and the Casino. It is great fun to people-watch while drinking a chilled glass of rose wine outside the Cafe de Paris! The staff in the hotel were so friendly and polite. Nothing was too much trouble, especially when they discovered it was my mother's birthday and left a birthday cake and card in the room. This was a pleasant surprise after our sight-seeing tour of the Prince's Palace. We took the helicopter from Nice Airport and flew into Monaco that way. However, our return to Nice was slightly different as we took the 100 Bus which costs only 1 euro each! I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to treat themselves to a little bit of luxury. It is expensive, but it was worth it.

Review of 'DE PARIS'

Having wanted to stay here for many years, it was only through the excellent price that alpharooms.com obtained that we were able to afford it. It is without doubt the finest hotel on the Riviera. Rooms are huge, with the bathrooms the size of a large single room in most hotels. Service was impeccable and the key was to have breakfast(full English) included. Normal price for this breakfast is £25 per person. The hotel is centrally located and with bath accessories changed twice daily. There is a free bus-shuttle (air-conditioned) every 20 minutes to the Monte Carlo Beach hotel with is large swimming pool and beach with sea-bathing.
At Nice Airport, the best way to Monte Carlo is on the 110 Bus which takes you virtually to the door of the hotel for 14.70 euros rather than a taxi which is 95 euros.
One point- at the 3 Michelin star restaurant in the Hotel (Alain Ducasse), one person was smoking which was off- putting, but he did cease on request.
