Really enjoyed our stay at the Florida park, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of choice of food and the quality was fantastic as I've been to a lot of other Spanish hotels and the food hasn't been that great. Would stay here again without a doubt.

Have stayed In Hotel for the past 3 Years. This Time I should have asked for 2 out of 4 single beds in the room to be removed, as I found it awkward to get around the room in a wheelchair. Bathroom was quite tight as well to try and manage chair ect, ect. Food was lovely as always. And staff were very friendly. Downstairs, Disabled toilet was acceptable, but slippy for someone with balance issues. Needed help there. Tiles on floor has no grip.

Just returned having spent 10 days of sunshine with four other friends in the Florida Park Hotel. We really enjoyed our stay there. We stayed in its sister Hotel-the Kaktus Playa in Calella for the last number of years and thought since it was so enjoyable we would try the Florida Park in Santa Susanna this time round. It is rated 3 Star but it is definately a 4 Star, definitely the best Hotel in this area and we went into most of them! The position of the Hotel is very convenient to the beach and the railway station, a few minutes walk away. The food is buffet style both at breakfast and dinner. There is a wide choice of food on both occasions, caters for all nationalities. The choice of fresh fruit in the morning was a bit disapointing also the fruit juice was out of packets, not fresh. Other than that I couldn't compain about the food. The Hotel was spotless, rooms cleaned every day and towels changed. We had a room on the 5th floor overlooking the pool and sea which was very quiet, no noise at night! The staff were very pleasant and helpful at reception and in the bar area, especially a lovely girl called Ana. I definitely would recommend this Hotel or its sister Hotel The Kaktus Playa in Calella. Hopefully we will be back soon!

Just returned from a week here, 29th June - 6th July. This is the best hotel along the hotel strip, and has a very good first impression. The scenic elevators and the pool fountain make it impressive at night when they are all lit up. It's pool is set back from the pavement with lovely lawns and plants unlike all the others whose pools are practically on the pavement and in full view of all the hordes of holidaymakers walking past. Evening meals were varied and had plenty of choices, including theme nights. The only thing I would criticise is breakfast, which was the same every day without much choice. Outside bar seating area was very pleasant with nice whicker furniture and hugh parasols, unlike most of the other hotels who only offered plastic tables and chairs. Rooms were spacious and cleaned daily with towell changes. Rooms could do with a fridge and satelite tv, only thing you can get in English is the World news. Beds were really hard, but after a few drinks, who cares! Reception were very good and all spoke excellent English. We rang the hotel the day before we went and asked for a pool view on a high floor and got it. This is not a hotel aimed at the English, they are definately the minority. This wasnt a problem except that the evening entertainment was aimed specifically at the Spanish guests, with nightly disco belting out all the Spanish crooners! Overall, we enjoyed our week and would say that this was a very pleasant hotel to stay in.

Review of Florida Park Hotel Sta Susanna
Trevor Wall, Teignmouth
Stayed at the Florida Park for 6 nights from 19th Sept 2007, booked through alpharooms.com. as independent tourists Hotel is in excellent location for beach, railway station and shops. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was situated on the top (5th) floor and was spacious with plenty of storage for luggage and clothes etc. The room was spotlessly clean, air-conditioned & balcony which was not overlooked. We thought that the 3 outside lifts would be busy but at no time (even meal-times) did we have to wait more than a few seconds for a lift. The restaurant was excellent. We found it better to arrive early for breakfast (pre 8 am) and later (post 7:30pm) at evening meal to avoid queues. Best to arrive before 8pm for dinner as the vast choice seemed to be reduced after 8:30. Waitresses escorted us to table at dinner and if we had wine left from the previous day this was given to us as we were allocated a table. Red Tarragona at 7 euros a bottle was excellent quality although as in a lot of med areas they insisted on serving it from the fridge. We were extremely satisfied with the quality of both breakfast and evening meals. Although we have stayed at many spanish hotels in the past, this was the best yet for food quality and choice. Even the English breakfast was excellent.........eggs cooked by the chef to order and as you liked them!! Bacon a bit undercooked, but he'd even stick that on the grill for folk, or you could put it in the microwave. Also no ex-Eastern bloc guests taking bagloads of butties & bananas for lunch as you are not allowed to take big bags into the restaurant. Bar prices weren't over the top, but the Park Hotel cafe next door was cheaper for liqueurs & cocktails. Hotel pool had loads of sunbeds, although there was a major problem with flies so we gave up and went to a beach most days. Can't blame the hotel for the flies must have been time of year? Private Car park at rear was nearly empty and worth the 5 euros a day. Entertainment every evening and things for kids and pool activities. Although the hotel was fully booked (385 rooms I think) there was no impression of being crowded either in the restaurant, pool or bar areas. Excellent value for money, I would rate this hotel 4*+

Relaxing stay at 'FLORIDA PARK'
Tracy Brooks, Rochester/England
Upon arrival at midday we were greated with a bright reception area and a cheery hello from the receptionist. All the staff at the hotel aimed to make our stay enjoyable and some went that little bit further with our requests. Our room was ready & waiting, and what a room with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool area. My only critisism was that the walls to the rooms were very thin and as the hotel flooring is completly tiled the noise from the corridors and adjacent rooms does tend to travel. A request was made for spare pillows and towels and both were promptly delivered. The beds were made every day and the room freshened up. We had booked Bed, Breakfast & Evening meal and the food was something else. A wide selection of both continental and english breakfast, with a much needed cup of tea. Our buffet evening meal consisted of a large salad bar containing various rice and pasta dishes, together with meat/cheeses and salad. This came with several types of bread. When it came to the meat dishes there were always several to choose from, with at least one beeing cooked fresh on the grill while you waited. The waitresses worked very hard and kept the restuarant ticking over well. We stayed at the hotel during the Spanish Grand Prix weekend and the restuarant did get very busy but there was always plenty of good quality food available. The hotel consisted of mainly older guests, with there seeming to be more Germans than any other nation. This seemed to be a typical "couch tour" hotel. Due to this the pool area was very empty during the day and we had no trouble with finding a lounger (although there would still be plenty to go round even in high season, with a lrage area to put them in). The entertainment staff tried (but without much joy at times) to get us interested in various daytime activities but they did not over pester you. The beach was a quick walk under the railway line and it stretched for miles. My only critisism of the beach was that it sloped at the waters edge and became deep very quickly. Friends joined us for a few days and we didn't feel safe letting their 8 year old paddle on her own. The station is a brisk 5 minute walk from the hotel but it opens at 6am and all the staff we encountered spoke good English and advised us of the best type of train tickets to purchase. It is an hours journey to the centre of Barcelona with trains running every 30 mins. The train line runs outside the back (pool area) of the hotel and some of th
