The hotel was warm and inviting and staff were helpful and friendly. The room we had was comfortable and clean, warm and cosy. A modern hotel with lovely staff and food.

Quite happy with the hotel

, Hartlepool

We where booked into this hotel as there was a booking mistake with alpha rooms. Although there was a lot of building work going on within the hotel this did not really affect us. There was no noise at the rooms and we did not eat in the restaurant. The hotel was a little further out than we had hoped however it was very clean and had good facilities in the room. The staff where all very polisher and friendly

The best thing about my stay was ...

Hello, the hotel itself was very nice. The biggest issues for us was the staffing. The staff, that were there were very helpful but we found ourselves waiting at reception and the bar/ restaurant for service far too long. Need greater cover

Surpassed expectations

, London

The Pearse Hotel being one of the cheapest hotels we found we were over the moon with the stay. A smile crept over our faces as we walked into a bright, tidy looking reception. The room we were in had clearly just been refurbished (complete with pleasant faint, fresh paint smell!) and they were refurbishing other rooms further down our corridor (we weren't disturbed by the work at all). The room was much better than expected for the price we were paying. Wifi was provided with a daily code from reception and the staff were obliging and very helpful when we needed to print out some e-tickets/travel bookings. The hotel is also an easy 10 minute walk into the heart of the city - Trinity College/Grafton Street/Temple Bar/O'Connell Street. Can't recommend this highly enough for the price we paid for it.

The best thing about my stay was ...

Beautiful room/Proximity to centre of town.

DUBLIN BREAK

, England

Like many reviewers regarding staff, breakfast and location, I agree. Had a room on second floor with the outlook onto a brick wall. Not the most fantastic of views!! Room was spacious with expected facilities and the hotel seemed the only place to get an alcoholic drink (Guiness) on Good Friday plus cheaper than the bars in the Temple Bar area. Food in the evening was good quality, plentiful and served hot.

The best thing about my stay was ...

Everything except the vierw from the room.

Dublin city break

, Manchester, UK

2nd time to stay at Pearse Hotel, friendly staff, clean and tidy accommodation and spacious, warm room - some traffic noise at front of hotel. Room facilities were fine and comfortable and breakfast buffet, plentiful and more than adequate. Good location only 10 minutes walk into the city centre. Recommended! C&Y - Manchester, UK

GREAT FOR A SHORT BREAK IN dUBLIN

, Manchester

This hotel was ideally situated for sightseeing in Dublin with only a 5-10 minute walk to O'Connell Street and other sights. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There was quite a lot of road noise (as we were on the front of the hotel) especially on Saturday night. One negative was that we requested a non-smoking room and were given a smoking room which smelt quite strongly of cigarette smoke. When we asked for a different room there were none available for that night (Saturday) but we could have had a different room on Sunday. Breakfast was buffet style, with a reasonable choice of food-cereals, cooked food, ham and cheese, yoghurt, toast, teas.coffee, juices . All in all for the price we paid for Bed and breakfast (£125 )in the city we couldn't really complain.

The best thing about my stay was ...

Easy access to city centre.

good hotel, great location for grand canal theatre or a shopping trip as walking distance to grafton street. Very clean, good parking but 10 euro per day charge. Had room in front of hotel and a bit noisey at night with windows open.
