Couldn't ask for more
Danielle Gale, Pontefract
On arrival to the hostel we were bumped up from a hostel to a private rooms for the three of us. Even without this the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and I think that's all you can ask for. The kitchen facilities were clean and very big and the location of the hostel/ hotel is fantastic. Just 2 minute walk to o'connel street and around 5-10 minutes to temple bar.
The best thing about my stay was...The friendliness of the staff

Good Clean Budget Hotel
Sharon Clark, Leeds, England
We had trouble finding this hotel as it has changed its name 3 months ago to My Place - found the staff to be helpful and curtious. Breakfast was good value and enjoyable. The bed was a bit lumpy and had to ask for extra pillows but room and ensuite clean and tidy. The stairs up to 4th floor a bit rikety though. Worth the money paid and stayed 4 nights.
The best thing about my stay was...The whole Dublin experience

Review of 'BROWNS'
J Denham, Somerset UK
Budget accommodation in street of similar hostels & guest houses
Clean throughout, good breakfast room & sitting area downstairs, breakfasts generous, staff pleasant & helpful BUT bedroom (& approach to it) was unwelcoming, poorly lit & in need of redecoration, tv didn't work & en suite shower room in need of repairs (eg tiles off wall) - not worthy of 3 stars
Well placed for exploring the city but we'd go for somewhere better next time
The My Place Dublin was previously known as Browns Hotel.
