How one can ruin his vacation

The food is the worst you can get. Me and my son have had all inclusive for 5 nights. From the third night on we ate putside. They servuced every time the same bad food. They warmed it and serviced it afain and again. If food is important for you i advice not to ruin your vacation in ramafa. The pool is small and uninjoyable. We went to mermlet beach in the old town. We have injoyed our time there. In ramada it is really ver bad. They vave no beach. They have a see that beginns with 2.5 meter depth and you have to go down 100 stairs to be there. Many say they have see view. Our vies was buildings .most of the rooms do not have see view. In the reception they tell you you have see view partially. In order to see the see you have to go to the balcony and stretsh yourself to see the see.

The best thing about my stay was...

Nothing

Disappointing .

I was very disappointed with the stay at the Ramada ,we went there to celebrate Christmas with friends ,to find out we had to pay 30 Euros for Christmas Eve dinner ,I was disgusted with this ,what does all inclusive mean ? We were taken too our room on the day of arrival ,told what we couldn't drink or eat out of the fridge ,not being Ultra Inclusive ,we were very restricted ,otherwise we would be charged .On entering the dining room a few times were told the tables were reserved ,no signs on them ,told to go in the over flow restaurant ,staff not even friendly either ,bar staff in lobby bar they were so miserable ,not a hello or morning nothing .Sorry wont be back ,couldn't fault the rooms or the food ,the best part of the stay was our cleaner ,very friendly ,smiling all the time .

The best thing about my stay was...

The cleaner ,she was so friendly and helpful .

Just the place for a hassle free chill out

Don't be put off by any negative reviews. The place is clean and tidy and although undergoing some rennovation, you'd hardly notice. All-inclusive includes extensive buffet breakfast (check out the omlettes), lunch and evening meal, soft-drinks, water, tea, coffee, Efes beer, locally produced spirits and a range of rum-, gin- and whiskey based cocktails. Ice creams available 13:00 - 16:00 in the bar next to the pool. Considering the size of the hotel, we never had to wait or queue for anything. The main bar is quiet and the outdoor bars close to the pool, sea and loungers. There are many levels and little nooks and crannies down to the sea where you can sit on chairs or lie on sunbeds, some with just enough room for two people to be on their own. Sea was flat calm in the morning but quite rough in the afternoons as the wind changed direction. Made a nice change to bob up and down on the pontoon. Plenty to see in the crystal clear sea including turtles which mosey on by every now and then. It's quite a trek back up the stairs from the sea to the pool so may be unsuitable if you're a bit weak in the legs. If you want to know something, ask. The staff aren't very forward with volunteering information but are prepared to answer questions. This is more like a city hotel right next to the sea and isn't touristy at all so if you want the Birdie song type holiday stay away. If you want a classy, relaxing holiday, this is just the place.

The best thing about my stay was...

Sea with no sand with easy access to drinks.

Great location but not 5 Star

This was our second stay in this hotel and we were not disappointed. We had previously stayed last Christmas and so we're looking forward to more pool time this visit. The weather was mixed but the pool and staff exceeded our expectations. The food was varied and we never went hungry although at times the buffet cooked meats were not as hot as we would have liked and on several occasions the chips were Luke warm. Most disappointing meal was breakfast where the chefs really need training in cooking fried eggs and customer service. The room was good but standard of housekeeping very disappointing and over the week had to ask for clean towels, toilet rolls and the bath to be cleaned. We were all inclusive and were treated really well by bar staff who worked tirelessly to provide good service. We are trying a different hotel next Christmas so will have a better knowledge of what to expect from a good hotel. Biggest disappointment was NO entertainment but best feature was walking distance to a great town.

Great hotel but service let's it down

Just got back from my first trip to Turkey (mid May) and the weather was great, bit cloudy every now and then but the temperature never fell below 25 degrees while we were out there I think which was perfect. On our way from Antalya Airport to the Ramada Plaza I have to admit I wasn't impressed by the surrounding area... The hotel sticks out like a beautiful sore thumb amongst run down high rise buildings all cramped together, but we were all inclusive so I never had much intention of touring anyway! Once we got into the hotel I couldn't believe how amazing it looked, the lobby is so grand I could sit in there for hours (which I actually had to on the last day whilst waiting for our cab home!). We paid for a Double Deluxe Sea View Room, and from the pictures and reviews I was expecting an amazing outlook onto the ocean... but I couldn't have been more wrong! The room was nice but stared straight out onto buildings, shops, flats and a football stadium, with only the tiniest view of the sea on the side! I went straight down to the lobby to complain and was told that "all the other rooms were full" (even though I later found out that this was a very quiet month for them) but they did have a superior room available which would cost extra. I went and viewed it up on the 9th floor (we were previously on the 3rd) and it was amazing..! A corner suite with a huge balcony over looking the ocean which was exactly what I was expecting, I just didn't expect to have to pay an extra £200 to get it! But we went for that room to make the most of the holiday and didn't regret it, so if you can afford to, get the best room possible..!! The food selection was great, I've never been all inclusive before so I can't compare but I never had any complaints! The restaurant staff were very friendly once you got to know them (although their English was limited) and there was plenty of choice for the adventurous diners and the people with simple tastes too (Me!). Pool area was great but we did have to go down pretty early to get a sunbed, even though the hotel wasn't in it's peak season..! But the pool itself was lovely and quiet but literally no entertainment, which was fine for us as we were happy with just watching the boats go by (very close) which kept us happy. Overall the hotel itself is excellent but I think the hotel staff could be given a few lessons in putting the customer first, and maybe make it more appealing to English guests as I found it was predominantly Germans staying there... The location of the hotel isn't great but apparently it is very close to the old town, we just never went there. Although I do recommend jumping on the tram for 2 Lira and going to the main beach there, its pebbly which is annoying but the ocean is literally as calm and clear as glass, absolutely beautiful..!! I probably won't return to this hotel but each-to-their-own, you might like it! For a beautiful, clean, sea view hotel it was great, but just let down by some of it's staff and the surrounding area...

The best thing about my stay was...

Beautiful looking hotel with amazing views (if you are high enough!)

Hotel clean, sevice and staff friendly. Some work being carried out but all in all good hotel. Pool area and view good. Only down side, rooms overlook apartments to the side so not private.

Alpha Rooms gave me great rate for Suite (BB). When I arrived hotel kindly upgraded me to Junior Suite. Room was amazing. Spacious, clean, extremaly comfortable. Staff was really good, all the time professional and attentive. Complimentary Wi-Fi access in the room, free of charge valet car park/garage provided. That would be my next and only one choice for Antalya! Thank you!

Excellent location and views

Hotel is in a convenient location close to the old town. Handy for tram to Konyalti and main bus routes to Lara and Migros mall. Room was extremely comfortable and service was friendly. No problem getting a sunbed with option to swim in the pool or steps into the sea. We stayed on B&B basis and found plenty of restaurants and cafes to eat out around Antalya.

The best thing about my stay was...

Ability to swim in the sea without having to go to the beach.
