Loved our short break here!
Rebecca Gallagher, Scotland
We enjoyed our stay as a young couple at the soft hotel. we were welcomed and any help we needed with tours and trips the hotel were happy to help. Ahmed was very helpful at reception.
The best thing about my stay was...The room was clean and modern, and the hotel was close enough to the centre but quiet enough to get a good sleep.

Great value central Paris hotel
D Humphries, UK
This hotel is great for anyone visiting Paris. It is situated between Gare de l'Est and Republique Metro stations so has brilliant access to all destinations. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are well appointed. There is also free wi-fi. Compared to many Paris hotels the Soft Hotel is great value especially compared to many in the city. I would highly recommend and I will certainly stay again when visiting Paris.
The best thing about my stay was...Location

Great little hotel in a fantastic part of Paris
C Caroe, Chester
The rooms are very similar to a Premier Inn, it does what is says on the tin!! The view from the window was, well a wall, but the only time we looked out was first thing in the morning and last thing at night so it wasn't a problem. The staff are great and their English is a lot better than my French. Great advice and they pointed us in the right direction and made our stay in Paris all the more enjoyable. Great food outlets near by and a mini mart just down the road. Breakfast was great as well. We would go again.
The best thing about my stay was...Great advice from the friendly staff

The Soft Hotel is in an excellent location for arriving by Eurostar, which we did. On arrival at the hotel, the star were very helpful and the standard of room was fine, their were bigger rooms, and on review of our stay being 5 days, a larger room would have been better, compared to the many of the guests staying for one night. The bathroom was fine, compared to other Paris hotels we have stayed in, the shower was quite high up with a large step to get in and out, this could be quite a problem to some people. Having just recovered from an injury it was worrying we could have slipped and fallen. The breakfast was good, a better choice of cheeses would have helped along with bread and roles. All the staff made us feel welcome. We did have a problem with the room next door which kept us up all night, the night staff did not resolve the problem.
The best thing about my stay was...Friendly and Helpful

Avoid in the summer
Neal Daniel, London
Good looking hotel on the face of it. Basic and small rooms, modern decor and facilities. No air conditioning or fan so the rooms get unbearably hot, especially at night. Opening the windows doesnt help either, plus it is a very noisy neighbourhood. Basic breakfast. Good for the price - may consider revisiting in winter when it isnt so hot. Definitely not for the summer.
The best thing about my stay was...The night manager was extemely helpful

We stayed at the Soft Hotel last week and it was lovely. It was my first time in Paris and we were made to feel very welcome and comfortable from the off. The hotel is very convieniently placed for the Gard du Nord and the Gare l'est stations (we were pointed in the right direction by two very kind Parisians). The hotel staff were extremely accomodating and friendly and despite being a very small hotel it was immaculate. It was a bit noisy at times as the walls are quiet thin but it was certainly value for money. Across the road is Sylvia's restaurant which served excellent food( can't remember the full name - but is literally opposite). She was very sweet and helped us translate the menu. Just a short walk along the road is the lovely St Martin Canal where we sat with our cheese, bread and a bottle of wine on our second night. Perfectly placed for sightseeing and a great place to take in all the sights and sounds of Paris. The whole trip was fantastic and I cannot wait to go back!

An ideal hotel at a reasonable price for a short stopover or city-break of a few days. Clean, quiet with a pleasant and attentive staff. Particularly suitable for patrons using the Gare du Nord or l'Est Railway stations.

Soft by name, soft by nature......
AnnandGerry, Dublin, Ireland
Soft by name, soft by nature - the bed was soft and the pillows were soft (but maybe some people like that). Contrary to other reviews, we thought the breakfasts were fine - the problem was, although breakfast was until 10:00am, they ran out of coffee at 9:40am and wouldn't make any more! We were in a "cosy" room, for which read "tiny" and the proverbial cat could not be swung around! The plus side had to be the location, right beside the Canal St. Martin - maybe there are nicer areas in Paris, but we haven't found them! Also, we arrived very late off the last Eurostar from London and the receptionist couldn't be friendlier.
