Clean hotel and good customer service
Within the city centre. Good customer service. Good after sales service ie after check out your bags will be kept in their storage giving u a chance to wonder around the town empty handed. All this for free. Everyone so willing to help and assist. The resident bar was good too. No noise. Towels were changed daily.
The best thing about my stay was...Cleanliness and good customer service

I really enjoyed my stay in Wynns. All the staff we encountered were very nice and helpful. The hotel is old but very clean. The room was a good size and the bathroom was moderne and spotless. The breakfast in the morning was the crowning glory for me. Cooked to order. A real treat. I would definately stay here again.

Wynns is a wonderful hotel. Centrally located and the very best staff. Rooms are compact but ideal for what we wanted. The bar area is relaxing and the breakfast is out of this world. We were made to feel important for the whole of our stay. Thank you to all.

Old-fashioned warmth and courtesy
Heather Middlleton, Glasgow
Really enjoyed my stay. A good old-fashioned hotel with emphasis on courtesy and service. Room was thoroughly cleaned and "reset" every day, the receptionist was warm and friendly, and the breakfasts left me fit to burst. They let me check in extremely early off a 7am flight, and I had everning newspapers delivered to my room without asking and at no extra charge. Nice extra touches like a safe in the room, free wifi etc. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to others - they've clearly worked out a good formula over years, and know what people appreciate. Location is fantastic, and although I overlooked the main street, I slept fine every night.
The best thing about my stay was...A sense that nothing was too much trouble

Good food and service but beware NOISE
Service is good, as is food, rooms are clean but beware street side rooms especially level 2 above the ballroom at weekends - take ear plugs!

Great hotel for great location
I stayed here with my boyfriend and my aunt. The hotel is in a great location for shopping/seeing the city but caution should be exercised at night as it is very near O'Connell Street and can get quite rough. The hotel is very well kept and has lots of character. The staff are second to none-very helpful and friendly. The rooms were fairly small but adequate enough for a night or two. Great shower and comfy beds. Not too noisy considering the location and spotless. Nice flatscreen tv too. All in all a lovely hotel.

I stayed at Wynn's hotel for the St Patrick's Day celebrations. The hotel overlook's the main street so we could watch the parade from our window. The bedroom and bathroom was kept very clean and in excellent decorative order. My only criticism in the bathroom was that the shower cubicle was a little cramped (if you are 6ft tall or more, ask that you are not placed into room 381). Shower supplies and towells were kept in stock. There was plenty of wardrobe and drawer space provided in the bedroom. The tram runs right outside the hotel so the noise from that can take a bit of getting used to (it only disturbed us for the first night). The taxi rank was only in the next street so don't get over charged by booking a taxi through hotel reception. Breakfast was excellent (cooked, cereal or continental - I recommend the eggs benedictine). All the hotel staff were excellent and very friendly. I would definitely stay at this centrally located hotel again.

Location was good and breakfast was okay. We requested a non-smoking room but were given a smoking or "freedom to choose" room instead. The room smelled unclean. We requested a wake up call but the call came ten minutes late. The front desk told us that the tram didn't start running until 8 a.m. so we wasted money on a cab when actually the tram starts running at 6 a.m. I would recommend spending a little extra money and staying somewhere nicer.

Review of 'WYNN'S' hotel, Dublin.

Everything about our stay was honestly fantastic - rooms lovely and clean (all rooms looked as good) - we glanced into others while they were getting cleaned "as you do". Food great - breakfast room stylish - staff very friendly and accommodating - food superb and plenty of it. Had dinner in bar one evening - great for bar snacks - just as good quality as eating out and far better value. We did request a nice view - and got it - right over Abbey Street - which was fab to look out over in the evening and when window closed you could hardly hear a sound. Adequate heating in the rooms - not like some hotels that are either baking warm or freezing. Bathroom immaculate and power shower good. Plenty of towels etc. Plenty of tea/coffee etc. Great flat screen remote TV - overall we were very impressed and just to finish off feel we got a bargain price compared to other city centre hotels - which this definitely is. Location very good for all the sites dublin has to offer. Well done Wynn's. Look forward to going back and have recommended it to all our friennds already.

Arrived at Wynn's easily, via airport bus, which stops at the corner next to this hotel, just across the road. Doorman helped me in with my suitcase and checkin was very easy. I had booked a single room, however I was given a room with a double bed and on a quiet corrider as I requested. Once I had unpacked the few thing I had taken, as this was January, I switched the heater on, but could not figure out how it worked as it was remote control. Soon I had 3 people in the room trying to operate it, as these were recently fitted. Maybe this one just did not work, so they suggested transferring me to another room to make things easier. This was no problem and the Housekeeper helped me move my stuff just down the corrider. Again, this was a lovely room with a fireplace, good bathroom, double bed and wall mounted flat screen TV. The hotel also has wireless internet access, if needed. Breakfast was fantastic. Choice of continental, porridge, kippers, cereals, full Irish - which kept me going until evening dinner.
The location of this hotel is great, mid way down O'Connell St, just after the spire. Address is Lower Abbey Street, which is just off to the left walking down O'Connell towards the Liffey. Only critisism, there is a lane just before the hotel, where a couple of local dossers sat, but bothered no-one, and unless you spotted them, you wouldn't know, but anyway, the area is always busy, and the hotel is literally the 2nd door round from O'Connell St. The room was cleaned and linen & towels changed daily. Staff were very helpful. The hotel is quaint, old style charm, with lovely stained glass windows in the dining room and lounges. I would definitely go back.

We had a 2 night stay at Wynn's just after Christmas.
The hotel has a real charm and a very interesting history. Our double room was spacious, clean nad comfortable. There was no bath but the large shower suited us fine. The staff were efficient and friendly. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was brilliant! You can choose from a large continental selection and then order a cooked breakfast eg Full Irish, kippers, vegetarian cooked, eggs benedict etc - lush!! The hotel is in a fantastic location, walking distance of pubs, restaurants and shops. I'd highly recommend Wynn's, we are looking forward to a return visit.

We visited Dublin the week before Christmas and stayed at Wynns Hotel, which is right in the centre of town just off O'Connell Street. We had 2 double rooms on the top floor and although very comfortable needed updating. The staff both in the restaurant and lounge/bar were very friendly. Breakfast was included in our package and was great with a good selection and served at our table by excellent staff and filled us up for most of the day. We had 2 evening meals in the restaurant and these again were excellent and great value for money. Altogether a first class place to stay and really good value for money.

We were most satisfied with our stay at Wynns Hotel Dublin. The room was clean and comfortable with all facilities including safe and ironing board and tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfast was very good and the bar area was comfortable and friendly.

The hotel was very convenient to most of the bus stops (including the airport bus) and shops were near by and within easy walking distance.
